Preheat oven 350 Spray Pam on 15x19 jelly roll pan Place crackers salt side down in pan. Covering in single layer. Trim pieces as needed to fill in on side. Melt butter and sugar together over medium heat. Stir often. When begins to boil add vanilla. Continue to stir. Lower heat and stir until it becomes Carmel like texture. Total time on heat 7-10 minutes. Pour and spread over crackers. Try to keep crackers flat and single layer during this process. Off set spatula/spreader best to use for this. Sprinkle salt over carmel(if desired) Take out and let set for a couple minutes. Put in oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly. It won't look pretty by the way! lol Sprinkle chocolate chips all over. Put in oven for a minute. Remove and spread evenly over top of Carmel. At this point, quickly add nuts, sprinkles or whatever else you choose...on top of chocolate. Place aluminum or parchment on top and press down lightly. Place in fridge for a couple of hours. Remove when chilled and ready to crack. Bend pan by corners to get candy to release from pan. Break or cut into pieces. Place in air tight container and refrigerate. ENJOY!
