Meat Loaf

Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef; 1/2 lb. ground pork or veal; 2 eggs, slightly beaten; 2 c. stale bread crumbs; 1 c. milk; 1 1/2 tsp. salt; 1/2 tsp. black pepper; 1 onion, chopped; 1 Tbsp. chopped celery; 2 tsp. chopped parsley; 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce; 1 tsp. allspice; 1/2 c. catsup or tomato sauce; 2 tsp. flour; 1 c. water

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 lb. ground pork or veal

2 eggs, slightly beaten

2 c. stale bread crumbs

1 c. milk

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. black pepper

1 onion, chopped

1 Tbsp. chopped celery

2 tsp. chopped parsley

2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. allspice

1/2 c. catsup or tomato sauce

2 tsp. flour

1 c. water

Mix meats together. Add bread crumbs, then milk. Add all other ingredients, except catsup, flour and water. Shape into a loaf. Put loaf into a greased pan and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Add flour to pan, stirring to mix with fat. Add water; mix. Pour catsup over top of loaf. Return to oven for gravy to thicken. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice. Serves 6.
